About Aggie Emeralds
Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas
Founded in 2016, Aggie Emeralds is a half-social, half-service women's organization at Texas A&M University that unites women of all backgrounds to create genuine, authentic friendships.

Our Mission
Our mission in Emeralds is to celebrate individuality, fostering deep friendships while encouraging personal growth and empowerment. As a sisterhood, we create a space where women of all backgrounds come together to support one another, embracing the values of integrity and compassion. We empower each member to lead with confidence, act with integrity, and show compassion in everything they do. Through these pillars, we strive to create an environment where personal development thrives, and where each woman is empowered to achieve her fullest potential both within the organization and beyond.
Growing Together
Over the past eight years, Aggie Emeralds has evolved and grown as a women's organization at Texas A&M. From a group of 20 women to our current fluctuating size of 60-90, our values have remained the same. We still strive to be a community of strong, kind women in which each member feels valued and supported. Despite our growth, we have worked hard to maintain that small organization feel, where every voice is heard and personal connections are made. Even as we expand, we focus on the individual experience, ensuring that each member has the opportunity to grow, lead, and make a lasting impact.

... leads the officer team and ensures they have the resources needed for their positions! We lead both general member meetings and officer meetings, and we meet often to solve any problems within the organization. We aim to lead Aggie Emeralds and ensure that every voice in the organization is heard and valued.

Membership & Diversity
Meet the leaders of the Membership & Diversity Committee! This committee is dedicated to all aspects of Emeralds membership, from recruitment to retention, and celebrating the uniqueness of each member in our organization!
What does Membership & Diversity Do?
On the Membership side, we help with the Big-Little process, from setting up events within the "dating" period, to the big reveal, to "family" events throughout the semester! We also plan senior sendoff to celebrate any graduating Emeralds. On the Diversity side, we help plan our annual Powderpuff game and various cultural events such as the Cultural Potluck, Foreign Movie Night, and Craft Night! Finally, the committee is heavily involved in the recruitment process, assisting the officers with reading applications, running recruitment events, and more!
PR & Fundraising
Meet the leaders of the PR & Fundraising Committee! This committee is dedicated to the public image of Aggie Emeralds, from social media to merchandise, and finding fun ways to raise additional money for our organization!
What does PR & Fundraising Do?
On the PR side, we let our creativity shine by creating merchandise designs for both public and member apparel, Instagram stories to help market for Emeralds events, and both vertical and horizontal videos to post on our social media accounts. On the Fundraising side, we help with ideas for profit shares and assist with running our two main fundraisers each year, which are a car wash and a bake sale on Northgate! The committee will be partnering with Social to create a new fundraiser event this semester!
Service & Philanthropy
Meet the leaders of the Service & Philanthropy Committee! This committee is dedicated to the service side of our half social, half service organization, from outside service opportunities to everything related to our amazing philanthropy, The BEE Community.
What does Service & Philanthropy Do?
On the service side, the committee helps organize outside service efforts! For example, S&P members serve as site leaders at Big Event every year. We also love partnering with organizations such as Paw & Claws and The Urban Howdy Farm and putting on our own events to serve our community. On the philanthropy side, we create gifts and surprises for the artisans at The BEE Community such as cards on holidays and a chalk mural outside their workplace. We visit the artisans on their break to play fun games with them and get to know them! Finally, the committee plans a Disability Awareness Panel every spring.
Sisterhood & Social
Meet the leaders of the Sisterhood & Social Committee! This committee is dedicated to the social side of our half social, half service organization, from mixers and events with outside organizations to sisterhood events that bring us closer together as Emeralds.
What does Sisterhood & Social Do?
On the sisterhood side, the S&S committee helps plan and execute fun sisterhood events throughout the semester, from Sisterhood Retreat to smaller events such as Bracelet Making and Paint & Sip! On the social side, we partner with other organizations at Texas A&M, primarily men's and women's organizations, and help plan exciting events such as mixers or more casual gatherings, like Hat Making or Glass Painting. In addition to these events, the S&S assists with planning a formal or semi-formal at the end of each semester!
